This is how we serve coffee at Cafe Bokeh

(NIKON D80; 8/26/2008; 1/200 at f/8; ISO 200; white balance: Auto; focal length: 50 mm; SB-800x2)

There were few problems when I worked on this photo. First the swirl shape was too small for me to get everything right in one shot. I ran out of space to reposition those x-mas light to be out of focus enough to clearly get those swirl shapes. So I decided to do this in two takes, one for bokeh with wide open lens and another take just for the coffee cup. i set my camera so background was completely black then light with two SB-800s, one from top right and another on camera. Btw, that swirl shape was made from craft puncher. See photo below.
