Urban Land Scout Camp
The URBAN LAND SCOUTS are a scouting group open to all people who wish to become better stewards of the land where they live.

This free summer camp took place at CAC Beardsley Community Farm in Knoxville, TN from July 18th - 22nd.

Camp was managed by Schools of Influence Education Foundation (soef.org) and received generous support from the Tomato Head (tomatohead.com), Community Television Knoxville (http://www.ctvknox.org/), and Cruze Dairy Farm (http://www.cruzefarmgirl.com/).

You can read the levels of Urban Land Scouting and learn about earning your own badges at:

The Urban Land Scout's Pledge

I will to the best of my ability
be a good steward of the urban land where I live
by cultivating native and edible plants; promoting species diversity;
sharing the fruits of my labor and knowledge;
and propagating Urban Land Scouting in barren lands.
