Protesters who had been separated reunited after the eviction of Occupy Los Angeles.

An officer with no visible badge number or name tag jabs a protester (out of frame) with his baton.

Immediately after this photo the officer turned his baton to me. His aim was toward my camera, he clipped my hand instead.

After clearing some independent media and protesters from the encampment before arrests took place the crowd was directed down a flight of stairs to Temple Street. Most made their way down safely, then police began pushing those remaining down the stair way.

An occupier kneels in front of an LAPD truck that had driven into the park to deliver final warnings of the announcement that the protest had been decided an unlawful assembly, and all protesters and media in the area would be arrested if they did not disperse.

This protester stands outside the group that sat down around the tent facing the circle of LAPD presenting a flower in silence.
