I tried to start a 52 week project this year, but something about January.....
Week 2

I have very slender "big" kids, so I just love any shot that shows off the creases in my one year old. She is mobile in a major way so I have already seen the changes, a little less chub here and there. Oh why do they have to grow so fast?

I haven't posted to flickr in ages. I just started working on this session and caught up in my own perfectionism I almost deleted this image, its a miss... focus is not great, in fact it is way off. It was one of those crap moments, "although not literally" where your newborn subject does something spontaneous like yawn or smile. So I almost deleted it, then I thought about the one image I have of my second born from this age on display in my home and its of a yawn, caught with a point and shoot camera, its special, its important and its not perfect, but I love it. So this client will get 30 perfect images to choose from and one imperfect that I will probably just put in the box as a little surprise.
