kitchen before

bleh.

i've uploaded this pic for something previously, but here's a glimpse of the pumpkin kitchen before...the color wasn't horrendous (it's also in the adjacent powder, which looks cute), but i never loved it in this kitchen from the day we moved in.

Kris, where did you get your bar stools? Martin and I have been looking for some for the bar area in our dining room. Those are supercool. we need ours to be at least 30in. do you happen to know how high yours are?

we got ours from ikea...i'm not quite sure exactly how tall they are, but they are pretty tall- since you can see they are almost as high as the nearby counter (and kitchen counters are around 36")
