i did this picture ages ago, i think in 2009 and around that time i met lots of lovely and interesting people in SL. recently Eves Imed me and told me the place is for sale and closing and i thought i go there and do another picture. but i didnt. i decided to keep it in my memories as i have it.

every now and then places appear and dissapear. lets be happy for being the time travellers to see them and share.

oh and yes here this picture, its not photoshopped, back then in 2009 shadows where a big trick! i spent a full day for this picture on that spot. just AO no pose no studio nothing. loved the challenge :) (with the tricks i learned later i would have done the picture in some minutes, LOL)

this is to me probably the best improvement for photographers in SL since windlight was introduced!

Salvador de Bahia is a very fascinating town in the north east of brazil. And memorable for me there is the kitchen and culture.

the funny part in this picture for me is right in the middle of it. it is a volkswagen "brasilia". i never want to drive one of those :P

this picture isnt anything actual but i discovered from what i did ages ago when i was in south america almost 25 years ago. i kind of love the "aging" those pictures achieved through being ignored for such a long time. it kind of makes me giggle and smile noticing that i am OLLDDDD lmao :P

i had a lot of fun today scanning in old slides that i kept in boxes for almost 25 years. My dad bought a tool to scan in those things and i went to his place the car full of old pictures to try it out. we spent many hours scanning and digitalizing pics and it brought back lots of memories. a wonderful day. back home i could not resist to go through those hidden treasures again and again and playing with them in gimp. this is one of them.
