I haven't uploaded much over the past two weeks. I've been primarily retouching and editing stuff which I could not upload. What more, yesterday I noticed that my 11-month-old 24-105L is going bust, so I had to do this with a 50mm.
Athlete: Joelle Cortis
Strobist: This was shot in broad daylight at around 11:30 am. It is ironic that the sun was indeed not the mainlight in this exposure, but was delegated to just a rimlight. In fact, it is the right rimlight.
Softbox with two SB800s at full power camera right, and one SB800 at 1/4 or so below the subject, and one 580EXII as a rimlight behind the subject at 1/2 on camera left, and one huge hot sun on camera right.
Thanks to Chris Stephenson for bringing his equipment along.
