Beautiful shot. So poignant. My wife is from Michigan. I've been to Sleeping Bear Dunes. They don't look as steep from your shot here as they do when you're standing at the top looking down. I've never been down to the lake from there, but I'm certain that they look even steeper when you're at the bottom looking back up!!
