March 21 - I am (in) Amsterdam! :)

Day 11 - Today, I spent the day exploring Amsterdam with my host. We went around town and Marco was nice enough to give me a guided tour of the city which absolutely rocked. He is a boat captain, so we also went by his work and I was able to see the boats that go along the canals and learn a little bit more about them. So neat!!

In the afternoon, we went by a falafel place where I tried my first falafel ever... and got addicted! They are so yummy! You will probably laugh, but from that day on - I had a falafel every day I was in Amsterdam.... haha, that sounds so sad, I know! :-D
