March 22 - Getting lost, anyone?

Day 12 - Today, I tried to scale the city on my own and visit a few of the amazing museums in town. Unfortunately, I kept getting lost - even with a good map, it's hard to navigate around Amsterdam because of its semi-circular street design.

Man, you cannot imagine the frustration that I experienced.. especially in the evening when it began raining and I was trying to desperately get back 'home'. Well, at least, had I not gotten lost I wouldn't have been able to take this picture of Amsterdam at night. The setting of this picture is in Jordaan - one of the most picturesque parts of town with some of the loveliest canals and most beautiful buildings.
