This is not an official apple store just a reseller dressed up like a an official one otherwise you would be able to find him listed under the international store locations section from the apple website. Anyway nice picture Kramchang

We went down to the IT malls and found the Apple reseller's small little shops. None of them could tell us where the Apple Experience Centre was, or if it even existed. The resellers perhaps didn't want to tell us where the compitition was, or it just doesn't exist. I vote for the second.

The map of where the photo was taken didn't help much either.

My conclusion? Unless the author of this post turns up a real address, this place does not exist.

njmnjm20072007 I should have elaborated more clearly in the first place. In response to the first several posts, unlike Apple Store SoHo New York, Apple Store 5th Avenue New York, it is NOT an official Apple Store, it is the retailer store. It happened to be named as Apple Experience Centre.

Most of all, this was taken in March, 2006, more than one year ago. My current iPod was bought there in the store. It is in 赛博数码广场 (CyberMart) near the subway station Huangpi S Rd of Line 1. The corner of Huangpi S Rd. (黃陂南路) and Jinling W Rd. (金陵西路).
Unfortunately, I lost the business card. But I can still find the add/contact from Chinese Apple Website as follows.

It did exist. I dont make up a fake address.

I dont guarantee it is not shut down at this time of May, 2007. But since I can find it on the list of retailers. It should be still there. The view was taken from Jinling W Rd. (金陵西路).

To prevent more confusion, I took away all of the words like "Apple Store" in this pic.

Thank you for replying. I am back in the US now, but will send this information back to my coworkers in Shanghai. Your post was very clear that this was not an official Apple store, which is why I was intrigued by the store and was interested in visiting it. Typical Apple stores can be pretty standard, but this place looked to be more interesting. If I can further verify the existence of this place, I'll post back to let you know.
