Poached abalone

An age-old environmental crime has become an increasing problem. Poachers hunt down everything from abalone to black-tailed deer, often in state parks and wilderness. Catching poachers can be tough since so few park rangers patrol such a vast areas, so state law enforcement officers are trying something new.
