Limestone Quarry

Here’s an industry you don’t often think about: cement. And yet, if you live in California, you use about 4,000 pounds of it every year. Much of that cement comes from one of two kilns here in the Bay Area. Cement kilns don’t traditionally get a lot of attention, but times are changing.
