This hand looks like it's made of stretched-out Silly Putty.

Started: 11th February 2006
Finished: 7th February 2008
Pattern: Forecast, by Stefanie Japel (Knitty, Winter 2005)
Yarn: Peace Fleece Worsted in Samantha-Katya Pink
Needles: Size 8 and 9 Denise
Modifications: I worked the sleeve ribbing from the elbows and crocheted a wee underarm gusset during seaming.

Oh, you bet! I'd been concerned the sweater would be too tight in the pits, see. So when I seamed up the arms and had about an inch left to go, I crocheted around the remaining bit and then seamed it, thus adding a bit more room there. Parfait!
