I bought a new desk.

I've been using my "office" as a studio these last few months, and writing in the house at the dining-room table. Not a very sustainable practice.

Now that we've renovated our front two rooms, I have a bit of a home-office nook by one of the front windows. I fell in love with this desk a few years ago, and took the plunge last week. It's my first very-very expensive furniture purchase, and I love it more than a person should love a piece of furniture.

Someday I'll get a better-looking, more comfortable chair for it, I'll hang something over the window, and I'll put up some art.

For now, SQUEE!
