Aren't those Joeys amazing contortionists the way they can fit into what seems like an impossibly too small a pouch? Even more amazing is the ability of the mother to still travel around as if there was no load to worry about - lovely animals

This girl and her bub actually seemed to be quite inquisitive and watched us for a while (we were doing a bird survey from a point and didn't move much in 10 minutes). Very relaxed, as you say Rick - a nice experience as they often bolt, at least the ones in the mob in our back paddock do. These were in a Nature Reserve, so probably are less disturbed and feel less threatened.
