Overhead

This is the line of a body boarder just out of frame to the right. He's not gonna make it either.
How long did it take to dry your camera off after taking this shot?
This spray is still 3 meters or more from the camera, Bill, but I do have dried salt on the lens by the end of a day's shooting when it's big like this.
Wow, it's sooooooo Big !!!!!!
That's why I'm on the beach behind the camera, and not out there myself ;-)
Overhead by konaboy.
Another one from New Year's Eve, last year. I don't remember this surfer's name, but the wave's purdy.

Wow, thanks, everyone!

This was another salvage project, like my last surf shot (which was also more popular than I expected.) As shot, this had the surfer and a bodyboarder visible, and I had not rated it very highly. But when I happened to zoom in to a 100% view, the wave itself really came alive on the screen and I decided to crop for that.

I think this may be the first time I've had a shot premiere on page 1 of interestingness, as opposed to climbing up there later -- would never have expected it!

This surfer and the body boarder both got nailed by this closeout, of course, but they were back for more next set.

to see what you have rated...

as opposed to flipping through a ton of pages, this puts all 500 in thumbnails, and in order (i think)..

@Christina: Thanks for the links -- I use scout already, but didn't know about the leech.
