Can I ask is this for education purposes only or do the user actually create documents?

ie can these be printed out and/or saved to file formats.

Good question, Ivan. The project (mentioned in the link) was supposed to allow that to happen. I'm not sure if it got sandbagged or not.

The idea is that they would be able to. The image there is from a real use of OpenOffice in a virtual world.
