So, what body will upgrade to when you take this to the next level? Sticking with Canon? They just came out with a new full frame sensor body for under 3,000.00 That would be nice. Or, you could make the better choice to switch over to Nikon. Better glass over here my friend. in my opinion.

Yeah that new Canon 5D mk II has my eye big time man. I've been trying really hard not to focus on the fact that my current body is almost obsolete, and just try to work with it, but I'm starting to feel it because I am limited to how large can print stuff. The glass is a good thing to think about, and honestly I haven't used any pro grade glass on either nikon or canon. Come to think of it I've never used a Nikon. I am super excited that Zeiss just announced an EOS mount for their lenses though. Unless there is some just blow me away good deal on a D700 I'll probably stick with canon cause I've already got a few lenses etc. What I really want is a digital hasselblad though ;-) I just got a yashica 44 in the mail yesterday, really cool. Still waiting for the film though.

If there really is better Nikon glass I can always get an adapter :-) Might be different story if the D90 was full frame or the d700 did video though. This blog post kinda influenced me on that ogiroux.blogspot.com/2008/09/convolutions-of-mind.html but honestly I'd just be super happy to be shooting above 6.3 MP hahahah this 10D is OLD

Have fun ordering your 127 film from the Czech republic - the only factory left that makes it. And have an even funner time finding a place that can develop it. unless you do it yourself ... you will have to make some custom pieces for your enlarger to hold the negative.

Canon is good. Nikon is good. But honestly , the camera that has the most bang for the buck is the Pentax K20D. Check it out.

Also another thing to think about is : do you know any pro photographers that are your friends? what do they shoot? if they shoot nikon or canon go with that so you can scam their lenses here and there. That works out great for me.

Amy, at Joel and Bri's house, I have a background stand we setup.

Elliot, it breaks my heart into a thousand pieces that we aren't going to save america with your blog today.

B&H sells the film, color and b&w so it's not that bad. Processing is kind of a pain though.

Yeah that K20D looks nice. Because I'm thrifty I'll probably just get a 40D since they are going for under 600 since the new stuff came out. Unfortunately I know no pro's. Maybe I should become more friendly. Because borrowing nice glass is a lot better than spending the money on it.

I think this should be published! Very nice :D The table lamp warms thing up nicely, gives it a home feeling. I like how we have Briana's attention while the supporting cast is carrying on.
