Wood Hollow Hat

Wood Hollow Hat

The obsession with BT Shelter continues.

This pattern gobbled up yarn and I had to make some modifications or it was going to be too big.
- shortened the brim by a few rows
- after the last cable twist in the decrease section I hastened the remaining decreases.
- knit on US 4 and US6.
- 50.5 grams.
- unblocked!

Huge Blanket

Huge Blanket

I actually had this seamed up and nearly finished, but for the last 3 squares, back in early November in time for Jose’s birthday. But I purposely did not add the last 3 squares because back when I started the blanket, in mid-May, I told him it would take me a very long time to finish this blanket. I also told him he was not allowed to die before I finished it. Because it would not be fair to me if he left before it was finished, see? And when I realized it was about to be finished, I stopped. Because I didn’t want him to die.

But he did die. And though he loved this blanket, it didn’t matter that it wasn’t finished, he went anyway.

On New Year’s Day I finished seaming the last three squares into the blanket. It’s finished.
