Caregivers Luncheon

Five Central Texas home-based caregivers, selected by agencies and individuals, were honored at a luncheon at the Four Seasons Hotel on February 23, 2008.

This is the first step in selecting a Central Texas caregiver of the year to be honored, along with caregivers from other states, in Washington DC later this year.

One Central Texas caregiver will be selected to be filmed for a Friday episode of A Place of Our Own and Los Ninos en su Casa.

Each week a caregiver is featured on the Friday episode of A Place of Our Own and Los Ninos en su Casa, two parenting series airing on KLRU, Monday-Friday from 1-2 p.m.
