NEO GEISHA: jntm2 round 1

Anyways, welcome to your first official photoshoot! Last season's host Akia Nakamura took the girls around Tokyo, letting them decide where they wanted their photoshoot and how it would be done. This season, things are going to be a little different. We thought instead of shooting in Tokyo, we would not shoot the city, but incorporate Japanese culture into your outfits, hair, makeup and pose. I guess you're all thinking we're doing a geisha shoot, right?

Wrong. Japan isn't all about wooden fans, kimonos and pale makeup! Take a stroll down Harajuku and look for yourself. Japan is a haven of modern technology, outrageous fashion and amazing food. We want you girls to combine traditional and modern aspects in one picture. It's up to you how you do it.


God this contest is going to give me nightmares of being 13 years old again and obessed with malice mizer and gackt. back when youtube didn't exist ad we had to download all our videos and dir en grey didn't even think of coming to america and they still dressed like women.

So she's bionic. with her kimono and her OWN traditional yakuza full body tattoos (they're her actual tattoos k) as her ~traditional~ japanese parts.
