A Place to Wander

After sitting still for 283 seconds, I decided to take a shot of this bench without me sitting in it. I pulled the angle back a little to get more of the sunlight hitting the pier pylon and the stairs heading down to the water. With the sun actually below the clouds, the warm lighting on the pier and bench and homes along the shore was very comforting. Reduced the exposure to 250 seconds with the brighter sunlight being exposed on everything. With the clouds moving in the direction they were, and that nice cloud along the horizon, I was pretty pleased with the way this turned out. Not sure if I want to try a B&W of this image. The transition from yellows to blues across the sky is really nice here.

It certainly was a calm evening there on Middle River in Wilson Point, MD.
