mahjong

mahjong by kelanew.
eva playing mahjong on the nokia n800 touchscreen computer (affectionately known in our house as the "tiny internet"). i doubted larry's claims at first, but sure enough, she really was playing mahjong a bit, finding matching (tiny) tiles on the edges and clicking on them all on her own. this is new; generally she uses the tiny internet for sketching -- and surprisingly, she can change colors, pen sizes, switch between different tools ("and then you have to click the 'ok' button, mama"). who knew? the touchscreen makes it possible; she's not up for understanding a mouse (or touchpad) yet.

haha. yes, it's a bit of a geek fest over here. half the living room is currently taken up by electronics and the like. (i say "currently" but that second photo is nearly a year old. hmm...)

just yesterday eva had cause to say to larry after i handed him my laptop "now you have all the laptops on your lap!" yeah, all three. (there are two others in the living room, not counting the tiny internet, but he had all three of the functioning ones.)
