Efri Reykir - Iceland

Efri Reykir - Iceland

The hot steam blowing from the 720 meters deep borehole that was drilled in 1988. The borehole delivers 50 l. per second of 146°C hot water. The water is used to heat 19 farm and 300 cottages in the area.

The reason I stopped and took this picture is how the steam is lit by the sun.

Home alone

Home alone

I was walking around when I noticed this man sitting by the window.
I didn't spent much time on taking the picture because I didn´t. want to disturb the persons peace.
