Weta, red/cyan anaglyph 3D

Use anaglyph goggles, red over the left eye, to see in stereoscopic 3D.
Weta is a large New Zealand insect, this being a female, Auckland Tree Weta.

Moving the weta back to reduce the antenna window violation was not a trivial exercise. It introduced ghosts which were hard to remove without reducing the over-all contrast of the image. Also neophytes do not like wide deviation in an anaglyph (unlike you experts). This image is already on the limits of depth of field and the antenna goes out of focus, so it seemed better to cut the blur out of the picture. Photographing an insect from head-on is often not recommended, since the depth is too great compared with a side on view, but with a bit of care the focus depth was just adequate like this.
