So just to prove that she scrubs up pretty well in colour as well as black and white. Here is the lovely Clare.
Those of you who have seen Ryan's eyes in my previous photos will recognise a similarity on the color and inflections. She has slightly more yellow around the pupil than Ryan, but the same style with the blues radiating out.

Niece is back in town. One year on. Still love shooting her for black and white conversions.
I think its the piercing blue eyes, which runs in my wifes side of the family.

Every now and then I take the camera out in the car, looking around for something to shoot. Then I realised, that looking around, also meant, looking around in the car.
Capturing Ryan when he is not posing creates some of my best photos.

Playing with some cross processing ideas in Lightroom. Also did some very aggressive cropping on this one. as the original is much larger and captures his whole upper body and head. But was a little static. Cutting in tight on the left side and opening up the right was a way to try and create depth. Not sure though as it seems the window light is going to bleed you off the page.

Trekking around China Town, Melbourne, Australia trying to create 3 shots for a canvas shoot. Cold and busy with diners, theater goers and pub dwellers.
It was challenging, haven't done a lot of night work before and none in a busy city.
