Dessert Sushi (one variation anyway)
This one is pretty easy. You need:
- Marshmallows, cut in half lengthwise - A small can of mandarin orange segments, well-drained - A fruit roll-up, the darker the better (the back one here is "Berry Berry Cool", the front one is strawberry) Take the marshmallow half and put it on a saucer, sticky side down. Remove an orange segment from the can and pat it as dry as you can with a paper towel. Be careful not to squish it. Unwrap the fruit roll-up and unroll it. Using a paring knife, carve off a strip about 2 inches wide. Fold the lengthwise ends under for neatness' sake. Place the orange wedge on the top (nonsticky) side of the marshmallow. Hold it there with your thumb as you wrap the strip of fruit roll-up around it, seam to the bottom. The fruit roll-up will stick to itself. This can be done with just about any kind of fruit, as long as you pat it dry and eat it fairly quickly. CommentsSakurako Kitsa
