Single largest bento mess I've ever made in my kitchen!
This wonderful new box was a birthday gift from my boyfriend's mom. There's a bed of jasmine rice. The inner bento box is made of blackberry fruit leather. Inside there is vegetarian sushi (carrots and wasabi), green beans, kumquats, red pepper and baby broccoli.
The chopsticks are made of yam soba, glued together by running them under hot water. I kinda like them uncooked. Crunchy and salty.
The napkins are made of folded mini cupcake papers. The cookies are mini grasshopper cookies, and there's an additional kumquat in the corner.
Heh. Off to clean up my enormous mess now.
