this has such an amazing feeling to it - like a fairytale but in a realistic way somehow. which doesn't make sense really, i guess i'm not good with words.

Yes i was heavily inspired by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.... I have always loved their work, and its something I was hoping would come across.... so thats a relief :)
Ola - yes :) I watched the entire series of 'Desperate Romantics' in about 7 days...... it really made me remember all the paintings again... I loved that programe!.... errr and Rossetti :)
Piotr - Ahah.... listen, I was in the water too!! It was up to my chest and smelt really really bad!
Kiem - thanks for the wet suit, and yes I put it on back to front again by accident, i'm such an idiot!!
I will write about this picture in my blog soon. It wasnt planned, i found the location whilst I was looking for something completely different. It was beautiful, so secluded and timeless..... I've never seen lily pads like that before, and I imediately rang Katie begging her to do a shot in the water. It was a really special picture for me, and Katie was simply incredible - she just threw herself into the slime - she is balancing on the lilly roots here, the water was much, much deeper than it looks.
So a little blog entry coming.....and thanks, this was the first day I had shot Katie, and i couldnt believe how great she was... the girl has got balls!!
