Tom: Did you get it?
Me: Get what? I'm just taking a picture of the fence.
Tom: The robin! Did you get the robin?
Me: Which robin? Oh no (looks aghast at realising she's missed an
amazing opportunity....rummages with camera in bitter cold with
fingers slowly going numb).
Tom: Did you get it?
Me: Why yes. Yes, I did! (smiling). That's this week's fence in the
bag then! Let's go sledging.
