Ha! My research was walking by a half-hidden sign in the Navy Yard. The moved all the bodies from the Navy Yard Hospital to here in 1923, but then in 1993 they found some remains that had forgotten. I guess they didn't have the budget for a really complete excavation, so now there's an overgrown field in the Navy Yard dedicated to the memory of all servicemembers, or some such.
