003:365 :: GoldRush apple

These are fabulous apples from the farmers market. Golden, yes, but much more flavorful/crisp/interesting than golden delicious. This is one of my first shots with my new 50mm macro lens and light setup.

Thanks, Norman! I took this after dark, using the light and its reflector. (Links to light and lens in photo description now.) Much better color rendering than I get from the compact fluorescents we use all our fixtures (save for the metal halides in the range hood).
