Last Shall Be First



Ma Osprey feeds the wee chick, the third chick. This is cropped so you can't see the older two at the other end of the nest.


Since the chicks are just about a month old, the wee chick has a good survival probability. Unless of course one of the older chicks knocks it out of the nest.


The wee chick has spunk. I've seen it challenge the older chick more than once. So it has the 'will' to survive that's for sure.


Everyone ate well today, thanks to Pops Osprey. He is such a great provider.
