When I see this picture, it reminds me of mystery tales I've read, when suspense was building up. I like it very much.

Are you sure Shane took it? It looks too good... ;-)

Haha, Karim... Shane'll love you for that! He took a lots of St. Vitus Cathedral with the intent, I believe, of autostitching a masterpiece... so I took one of the shots in the collection as the basis for some processing!

I've been in Prague four times in recent years... the first time I took lots of photos but my camera was stolen (from my apt during a party) just after I returned to Dublin, and before I'd managed to retrieve them. (I've learned a lesson there: I now retrieve - and upload to Flickr if possible - my holiday snaps ASAP!). The second time I went on my own to the city but I'd been too skint to replace the camera. The third time, likewise, but my mate brought an excellent camera which was nabbed in arrivals at Ruzyně airport. So, last year, I made sure I had my camera, lots of SD cards, and was prepared to take hundreds of photos in one of Europe's most beautiful cities (impossible to take a bad photo, no?)... and the day I arrived my camera's batteries gave up the ghost and I realised - with horror. and black amusement it has to be said - that, of course, I'd neglected to pack my charger.

Hence I nicked Shane's camera a bit on the trip, and one or two of his pics after it! ;)

By the way, love the mystery comment... coolest I've received sofar on flickr! :)
