I was born in Penticton (about 40 kilometres south of here) and though I spent most of my growing up years in Edmonton, I still consider the Okanagan Valley my home. When I am in the valley, I feel at home -- and isn't that what it is all about? I currently live in Mesa, AZ -- and most often I feel like an outsider -- a foreigner. I most feel at home in BC and Alberta, and in Germany -- and Europe as a whole.
