Werner Enterprises

I don't usually talk about the customers I visit, but I thought this was kind of unique. First off I had traveled to Omaha where I have family (in and around). Secondly the customer was Werner Enterprises, a transportation company, and I have friends in that field. Finally was this bronze sculpture in the main lobby of their relatively new (~2000) headquarters.

This sculpture isn't full size, but I thought it was pretty impressive. There were even little fountains where the horses hooves met the (running) water. What I thought especially amusing was the Jackelope skull on the banks of the "river". Too funny.

The board room itself was also visible from the main lobby. I didn't know it at first, but was later told that the table in the board room was custom made. It had a glass top with an amazing display of Indian arrowheads. Apparently there's a member of the Werner board that has among the most extensive arrowhead collections in the world. When the collection under the glass was assembled, the staff even used masks and white gloves.
