      Happy New Years, Klaus!

      Is this really 31 years old? Coincidentally, this Christmas, my son gave me the Guitar Signature Licks book on "The Guitar Style of Mark Knopfler", and I've been diligently practicing the lead guitar and rhythm tracks on "Sultans" over the past week - and although I am no guitar whiz, I'm beginning to impress myself.

      Thanks - same to you. Since 32 years I have a Hoyer Western Guitar. I practice nearly daily. I play a lot of chords perfectly with fingerpicking style - my problem is - I don't know the name of them ! A-dur, C-dur and so on ? Sometimes I have to check them out.

      A friend of mine and co-worker then in1975 is playing my guitar. I still meet him once a week on our collectors meeting.
      SULTANS is a real hard to play guitartune - so keep on practice.
