I'm notorious for taking a gazillion takes for each self-portrait I do, so it was a special challenge to do just one for today. This was the perfect day too - it was super warm out, and between chaos at work and class afterward, I didn't really have much time to spare for an sp. My drawing class met for the last time tonight - and it ended on a major high note. My teacher is writing a recommendation for one of the schools I'm applying to -- she had something written, but after learning that I hadn't taken any drawing classes before hers, she had to go and rewrite it! It was a huge compliment to find out that she'd thought I'd already had some training.
Just before I took this, the cutest little boy and his family came up to me to say hi. And just after I took this, mandrew delivered home-cooked meatloaf and potatoes to my doorstep, thus fulfilling an offer he made a couple months ago to make me dinner. I returned the favor by sharing some stale Merlot and moldy pumpkin pie. <-- possibly the best metaphor for our friendship ever. :)
And now, I'm gonna go watch some tv with the kitteh!

Ooooh, I love this. Awesome for one take! I always take too many too. Fills up the harddrive rather quickly, so I try to delete as fast as I take! :)
