    I’m not all that interested in selective desaturation, but my eye seems to find many pictures that look that way. The city is full of grey.

      obmamt: yeah. And looking closely at this pic again, I’m not entirely sure what is going on. It looks like a coat of paint has been peeled away in this semi random beautiful pattern, perhaps to get a look at the bricks underneath.

      this is miraculous -- i love the angular waves of the fence, and the way that the almost bluish-slate of the wood seems to glow like a halo around the yellow hydrant. awesome work!
