I eventually was able to make this 11 mile roundtrip up to Jefferson
Park Wilderness;
it was a very last minute thing and it is so stunning up there in the
Oregon Central Cascades. Just after this they started to close down
parts of the park due to the forest fires in close vicinity. I did not
do so well on this hike as my replacement hip popped out near the top
and I wanted to thank Adrian K for his patience
and help getting to this spot and then eventually the long trip back.
