I was adding my Fallen Redwood Tunnel tree image when I spotted this image in the 3:1 group. Impressive. How'd you keep it all in such good focus? Tilt lens? Blending of two images? I have problems getting such clear shots of flowers in front of fantastic scenes but you have got it down. Congrats on this one. I am sure it will get many comments.

Lovely shot. The wide angle really puts things into perspective in this shot. The rays of light leading from the central source, the flowers in the foreground and the clouds in the sky, all make for a great effect.

Looks like splendid foreground elemets to me...definitely strong enough :) And you were right about the backlight - it really makes the lupines almost translucent.
The rays are surely amazing (needless to say) and the exposure and colors everywhre are simply outstanding.
