Charlie is the most delightful stranger I have encountered to date. I caught a glimpse of him out of the corner of my eye and even though he was walking away from the location I wanted to use I knew I wanted to photograph him, so a quick walk and I was up with him. Charlie was slightly surprised to be asked but said he was extremely flattered and yes of course I could take some photos, so he agreed to walk back to the patch of light I had seen and we snapped away.

Charlie is a deaf (hence the earpiece in both ears) disabled actor and his effervescent personality, especially in front of the camera, just shines through.

Even though he is not that happy about the shots I took of him we have been in contact and will arrange a follow-up shoot in a more controlled environment.

But Charlie has said that he wants to get together so I can "take some b/w and white and colour shots of me in a more controlled and model like style".

I think I can understand why he is not that happy with the shots so far - and I know I can do better so lets see what we can create!
