It looks like their eyes are twice as big than normal when they are sitting. I see that in my own birds. They need to keep an eye on everything.

For some reason I'd never taken photos of a Canada Goose before. I got some this weekend. I got a nesting shot, too. She looks like she is pretty mad at you for looking.

Yes, she's gorgeous- and the way her neck followed me around like a snake, the message was clear!

I take a lot of Canada Goose pix since they are so common and they give me good practice. These ones are not tame, so I can see the range of movement, unlike city park birds where the only movement is towards you, mouth open. These ones (when not nesting) give me the opportunity to watch them launch from the water when I come near and I try my hand at liftoff shots.
