    WANTED to discover if anything those protesting WINDCOWS say is even possible? IN the above position, reclined my driver's seat, with moonroof opened, and listened. After an hour, gentle woshing sound above wasn't even as loud as shoreline crashing waves!

    Thanks for the smile this morning, ww. *~* That's about as close as it's possible to get & sounds (not an intended pun) like you spent a relaxing hour being lulled by what could be the pulse of the ocean, with a little imagination. I remember long ago a friend bought a house that backed onto the sound barrier wall of a major Toronto highway. I couldn't imagine living with that whooshing sound 24/7 but she'd grown in Cape Town, SA, close to the ocean & said that's what it sounded like to her. The proverbial lemonade from lemons *~*

    while surviving without air conditioning, slept on a topbunk which was in constant wind of a 4'fan; just DREAMED~imagined i was resting on top a yacht!

    although there are monetary incentives(+500/mo), neighboring property owners unfortunately seem to become greeneyed. which means they get reminded with every sound & view!
