We found some other tourist to take a lovely stereotypical Paris picture of us.

Veldenz is a village located close to my home in the Mosel valley. I spent a lot of time there growing up and like so many other Mosel villages it's a great, peaceful place with lots of hidden life stories to it. But what I never knew is that it's got its own random wooden bear statue, donated by

..the dark, scary vineyards.

I liked how the light gets caught in these columns at the Acropolis in Athens. I'd been up there before a few years ago, and this time we went again on a Sunday morning. Gorgeous views, very impressive ruins, free entry...that's right, it was tourist central.
