Such vibrant colors! It's almost as if the horizon and the ocean do not simply meet but are one, 'whole'. The dark form of a person in the right hand corner gives the photo just the right 'something' it needs to stand apart from the regular 'landscape' and sunset photographs. Very nice.

First it's a sunset so you're in for quite a challenge ;-) As many supposedly great sunsets, the colors look a bit artifical: I think it's the pb with digital photography: everyone can transform an ok sunset into a spectacular explosion of colors, so even the great natural sunsets look boring now... I'd like the silhouette to be less off-side, and more contrasted against the water, as well as a less sky on top. The curvature of the horizon is also not my taste.

Anyway, it's another beautiful sunset. California + pollution = great sunsets!

Was the saturation enhanced in-camera?

In the world of sunsets it's very nice but it lacks something to send it above the rest.

actually you're quite wrong.
there isn't almost any retouch on this photo. feel free looking at the other pics on the same set, they were not even opened in photoshop.
this is a natural sunset.
on that they in San Diego (and not in my photoshop) there was a spectacular explosion of colors. believe it or not.

Aprevit: there isn't any saturation on this. zero.

@Keniai: sorry, you got me wrong, I was meaning actually the opposite !!! That even a great, unmanipulated sunset (like yours) will not stand out that much now, in digital days, since it's easier to manipulate an average one !!!

And about the groups, I'm also posting in a lot of groups sometimes, but here, there's a lot of "promotion" groups (123, 321, Let's play tag, Applaud me...) ;-)

I am not so jaded as that Delete Me group - I just see a beautiful shot of a stunning sunset and the silhouette of someone lucky enough to see it in person. That it is a natural shot, that the figure dancing is not a
"perfect" shape makes this very real and honest to me. I'm not a professional, just a picture taker who likes what she likes. I go by different criteria, I guess. I wouldn't change a thing about it!
