Wow, two in one year... not bad! Was this predicted at all or just a fortunate find Ken?

Ha, never mind. That's what I get for looking at pics out of order.

Very lovely. Can't believe I missed them. Is there a phone call network to get notification when they are out? I'm wondering if my location in the woods is hampering my seeing them. Karen

Awesome! Is this your usual "stompin' grounds" or did you head north? I'm excited that aurora season is starting!

That's awesome! (and unfortunate I missed them, since I'm further north) I don't get out much either, though that's fine as far as photography goes, there's plenty to shoot wherever you are. When your at home, or somewhere you know quite well, it can be tricky to notice the beauty all around, but one of the big advantages is that you know what to expect from the area. A good example would be where the sun will rise or set. Or perhaps good locations for special events....(like AURORAS!) Good stuff to know! =)
