I like this one; I don't know why :-) olther than I think it's visually appealing - clean, sparse, draws your eye to the two guys in the front and then the 2nd focus of the rockets in the back. Then I start trying to figure out how the two are connected - ancient war times vs modern? What were your thoughts when making it?

I think you basically got it! I just intuitively collaged/appropriated the images from some old books and created a scene that is kinda puzzling...the rockets radiate, which I always like...and Vercingetorix was a Gaul...I think he's on the left and I think he's surrendering. I guess it's just about endless war??!!!
