Go Irish! Go Green!

This year's greening of the Chicago River for the St. Patrick's Day celebration occurred March 11.

Posted to aquatica (March 9) in time for St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the next two weeks. If you're near Chicago, come and see the greening of the river!

Thanks for sharing this shot! As a kid, my high school band marched in the St. Patty's day parade in Chicago. I remember looking at the ground as we were walking over a bridge and looking at the green water. This pix takes me back - thanks for sharing!
